Possible silly question
Forgive me I never had a 4X4 before.
Is it normal to feel a little slip (in the inside wheel) in 2WD on slow speed, tight corners on pavement? Almost seems like the differential is not able to do its job fully. Is this the limited slip differential I've heard about?

I beleieve the limited slip is only on the rear wheels. I could be wrong. As far as feeling a "slip" on the front wheels in 2WD, it's the first I've heard about it. All the 4x4's I've driven feel normal in 2WD and will hop or slip in 4WD on dry pavement. Maybe one of the hubs isn't disingaging fully? You might ask about this in the suspension forum.
