Old guy, new truck

Just joined and will probably be bugging you all with "how to" questions. The truck will be used to tow about 6000 pounds of trailer around the country in warm weather, I hope. Just bought a remote start and ordered the brake controller. Will be looking for programming info. I'm in northern CA. May be a little crazy but not a fruit or a nut. Looking forward to meeting you all.
