Hey yall! Been reading these forums for a while, this is my second post but i havent posted here yet. Just picked up my first f150 a few weeks ago. Got a good deal on an 08 supercab 4x4 with the 4.6l. I was hoping to grab a 5.4, even looked at an 07 5.4 xlt the same day i got this one. Bottomline, the deal i got on the 08 was better. Both were low milage, but the 08 was a bit lower and all around cleaner. I decided i didnt need the extra power for my uses, and the deal was good. At purchase my truck had 40k on it, looks like new inside and out, and has a spray in lining in the bed.

Loving it! I come from a die hard ford family, even my inlaws are ford folk. My grandfather just purchased his 25th f150 the week i got my first. About tine i guess! Only mods i have planned atm are 33" bfg at k/o tires, a level, and a programmer. In the future i will likely get bigger wheels and regear it to suit. Oh, going to do the gotts mod when i get back from vaca.

welcome blufone, what part of WNY are you from? i live there also in west seneca. not a whole lot of us from this area on here as far as i know. oddly enough we almost have the same trucks as well. i have a 2010 stx supercab with the 4.6l. if you have any questions for plans for the future id be glad to help ya with what i have learned so far myself. this is my first f150 and ive looked up many many a topic since first getting my truck. hope to talk to you soon man.
