new from Wisconsin

whats up everyone, my name is David and I just bought this fully loaded 2010 King Ranch, 5.4 with just under 30k on it. it comes home on monday.

I'm 20 years old and a Ford tech but I'm moving to Montana soon and have no idea what's in store for me out there just yet.

I'm sure it will end up with intake/exhaust and retrofitted headlights but first thing is some new 275/55R20 rubber, so if anyone can suggest a nice quiet A/T tire that will last a while, I'm all ears.

Welcome fella. Nice truck!

Ford Tech eh? That's handy.

Where in Montana are you moving too? I live just an hour over the border near Fernie.

I'm headed for Missoula, to be honest I haven't even been there yet so I'm not familiar with the area at all lol. my family is going and I have nothing really holding me down here, so I decided it would be fun to pack up all of my **** and move across the country at a moment's notice.

Hello David.
This truck will make the move easy. Looks to be in great shape from here.
Had the 5.4L in my 2010 and had no complaints with it.
I prefer Firestone's over any other brand, based on past experience with all kinds of brands. This will be my replacements when it's time.

thanks!

the Destination A/T is no doubt a popular tire, it's the top ranked in my size on Tirerack and I see them all the time at my work but being a Ford dealership we don't deal with Firestone because of that whole exploding thing from several years back. lol. I think I may give them a shot though, they're also really reasonably priced.

I ordered 2 sets of firestone winter tires from my ford dealer. He brings in any tire i want.
I had those firestones from that recall which i had no problem with at all.....ford replaced them for free with michelins. I can honestly say , that i hated the michelins and wished i had not taken advantage of the free replacement tires.
I'd go with firestones in a heartbeat, regardless of what anybody says.

I think I will. thanks for the input.
and yeah we can order any tire here, but we don't advertise any sales promotions or anything like that for Firestone.

are they any good in the snow? they look like a highway/touring style, not very aggressive
