Hi
Hey All,
Name is Rob and im active duty Navy living in VA beach. Im a proud 2004 FX4 Supercab owner. My dad passed just a few weeks ago and left the truck to my mother so I bought it from her to help her with the finances.
Its bone stock. My dad bought it in 06 with 43k on it and he only put about 8k on it for the 6 years he owned it. Ive been surfing this forum for a few weeks now and gathered alot of good info and have a gameplan set up for it already.
At the moment im looking for methods to address the underbody upstate NY rust issues it has and it does have the notorious passenger side header leak. Ive yet to investigate it, if its a stud broke off im going to just swap with some LT headers. Already called around locally and most shops wont even touch it!
Anyhow good to be here and I look forward to modding my FX4 and sharing the experience with you guys along the way!

Hi Rob.
Sorry for your loss. When both my mom and my dad where sick and towards the end of there life's, i made sure i spend as much time with them as i possibly could and I'll always be glad i did!

Yea i spent a good portion of my life with him, good times. I plan to build it up starting out with the "needs" first. He loved it and it reminds me of him when i drive it so im going to keep it forever.
