Red face didnt know where to post this?!

good morning all,

im fairly new to caring about my truck as i used to drive old dodges, now my question is, i have the oppertunity to buy a set of harly electric and heated seats for my XL regular cab, first off will it fit in the truck since it is a regular cab? and is there a way to hook them up without haveing to rewire the whole truck? I was thinking maybe that the harness looking cable that is under the seat was what i am looking for.

sorry so long winded, and thanks in advance for an help given

School,

I maybe wrong in this but, I think the harness that you're mentioning is already down there. I don't think that FOMOCO only puts it in 'certain' vehicles. Thus, I'd say you're in good shape...

If it's not there, I'd suspect that it'd be pretty darn easy to wire in... I'm sure it's just a couple of 12V wires that you'll have to tie into something that is always hot. Keep fuses and loading in mind though... might have to take the wires all the way up to the battery... If so, make sure you have a couple of fuses in line to avoid skortching the Heater...

GOOD LUCK

Any luck doing this mod?

I'd like to do the same for mine too.

Were you able to do this? What source did you use to get the parts?

Thanks,

Rich
