Want to replace '01 XL Bench Seat..need ideas

Hey Guys...I just bought a 2001 F150 XL supercab with the big bench seat in the front that doesnt recline or have an armrest. I'm new to the truck world....so Im not sure if what I am looking for is around. I want a replacement for my bench seat. Id like maybe another bench seat with a fold down armrest, maybe one that reclines...any ideas? Do they sell these? Thanks for your help

First place I would look is a junk yard for a wrecked 2000-2002 F-150. If you find one and the seat is in good condition you will probably have to remove it yourself. Cost wise that would be the cheapest.
Then I would check parts catalogs. The only one that comes to mind for major interior parts would be JCWHITNEY. Unknown on others.
Then you have Ford, as you know they will be the most expensive.

Hope this helps

I know in my 2002 it has reclining seats 60/40 with center fold down but you might try a search for F-150 seats on google if you cant find anything in the salavage yards.

Later.....

I too have a 01' XL with the bench seat. I got a nice console by steel horse that matches the interior and divides the seat nicely. about $50.00. Many sizes and quality, I tried two different ones before I found one I liked.

Hey suvdrvr thanks for the reply...I want to email you to ask what the part number is and if there are pics of the console you have. Email me at TurboJDawg@hotmail.com and send me a link, or part number, or pictures if you get a chance. Thanks a lot bro!

I am about to order 2 Corbeau VX2000 bucket seats for my 97 XL. It should be quite an improvment.

There are several companies that make replacement bench seats, some in leather and some in fabric. They are very nice and also are very comfortable. However I think you can anticipate on spending about 900.00 to get a aftermarket seat.
