Warning Labels

How many of you guys removed the warning labels on the sun visors. Man, I hate those things. I don't need to be told about the air bag cautions or that my truck drives different because it is a 4X4.

I didn't want to risk messing up the visor by trying to peel the sticker off so I went to Pep Boys or Auto Zone or somewhere like that and got 2 visor ... uh .. dohickies (can't think of the name of the things , it's late) you know , the things with pockets for maps , note pad & pen , tire pressure gauge ,and cards I don't use often like Sam's Club & BJ's Wholesale .... covers the stickers and a handy place for stuff , all for about 10 or 15 bucks .

yup, i did the same thing. Got a CD holder and stuff - those labels really do suck. I wonder if a company makes replacement visors that come blank - that would be cool.

of course Ford does have to put them on. Some dumba$$ will misuse the airbags and sue the hell out of them... driving up the price of our new trucks to pay for the lawsuit. Its like the stores signs that say "we all pay for shoplifting"

Hey guys shortly after I got my truck in 99, I had a guy who runs a custom trim shop recover my sunvisors in gray material and it only cost me $32 and the guy did them while I waited.

Just a thought here, only catch is your OEM visors are hot glued together by Ford and mine are now very nicely machine sewn around the edges like some of the early visors from Ford like the visors in my 1967 Mustang are.

Just a thought here fella

Have a good one, Showya
