Question Making a S-cab a true 4 seater w/Console?

Has anyone considered modifying the "60" part of their rear bench so that it is "40" wide and putting a console between the two "40"s?

I want the "blackwood" wannabe look if it's possible.

Unhappy

I'll take the lack of responses as "it's not going to happen"

I would think it is possible since the King Ranch F-150, HArley Davidson F-150 and the Blackwood all have rear buckets with a console. All you need is $$.

Here is a picture of the King Ranch:

and the Harley Davidson:

True, BlueFlareside, but the trucks you picked are supercrews....not supercabs. I believe Corpsie was referring to the supercab models. I doubt it would be possible, unless you want to do a lot of "special" mods. It would require another bracket to hold the new "40" section in place... But knowing the guys in these forums, anything and everything is possible.

Ive been searching for about a year now on the same subject. I still cannot find bucket seats or captain seats for my f150. If anyone has any info about where to locate these types of seats would be greatly appriciated.

btolenti,
I did not see where he said SuperCab. I just assumed he meant a SuperCrew. I don't see the purpose of doing it in a SuperCab because once you put in the full size seats (full depth as compared to the shorter back seat in the SuperCabs) you would have about 2" of legroom, unless the driver was about 5' tall. Measure your front seat cushion depth and then your back seat cushion depth and you will see what I am talking about. Plus the back seat in the SuperCabs is almost vertical, while the buckets would not be unless you really wanted to make people uncomfortable.

JSL1414,
The only place that I know of for seats is www.lwm.cc. I bought my Expy console from them.
