center seat mounting bracket

I have a 2000 F150 regular cab and recently bought a 11" wide center seat to replace my center console. After buying it, I realized that the floor has four long bolts protruding up and the bottom of the seat has four bolts protruding downward (no holes to adapt to floor bolts). The place where I bought it does not have adpater kits (they told to drill through the bottom of the truck!!!???). Anyone know where I might be able to buy an adapter kit? Thanks for the help in advance.

never, ever drill into your floor pan for any aftermarket part. You'll get rust and exhaust leaks into the cab.

Take the new seat and cut off the bolts. Now drill holes in the seat frame to fit the floor bolts of the truck. Buy and install nuts to fit (dont forget the lockwashers).

Dont cut the bolts in the truck floor. You may want to reinstall your console at some point.

Good luck.
