2009 F150 Lariat. Wife had width problem with garage door and cracked the mirror housing to the point I have to replace it. Can anyone help with the inside door panel removal?

Thanks

This thread is for changing the speakers but should help with getting the door panel off.

Unhappy Almost "got 'er dun"

Well I followed your excellent directions to a T. Only problem is that the nut or whatever on the inside of the metal door liner disappeared when I took out the bolt behind the door handle. Now I have a hole but no means of attaching the bolt thru the plastic door handle trim and anchoring it in the metal door liner.

Am I screwed? I have to believe there is some sort of fastener that I can either use like a wall anchor (0 depth) or some other anchor for which I have no name. Can anyone help?

Mirror looks great but inside of door looks a little cheesy with the door handle hanging loose.

Gary
