Map lights and dome light when opening door

Map lights and dome light when opening door
Alright, I may be completely stupid or something, but I'm having a problem with my map and dome lights.
Open the door, the map lights come on, the dome light does not.
Move the dome light switch from passenger side to middle, no lights come on when the door opens.
Move the dome light switch from the middle to the drivers side, dome light comes on but the map lights dont.
Am I missing something or doing something wrong? Arent all the lights supposed to come on when you open the door? Is there a switch or something that I'm missing?
I did search too, but I couldnt find anything even close in the hour I looked.
