Raising The Front Seat

Just purchased a new 2009 F150 XLT screw, to replace my 2006 F150 Lariat screw. I'm finding that the front seat seems lower than in my Lariat. I'm installing a 2" leveling kit and new tires next week, but was wondering if it's possible to raise the driver side seat up? Could I use spacers and a longer screw to get an extra 1/2 to 1" of height?

Kevin.

I would not do that. In case of an accident I would like my seat to stay right where it is and not be launched through the window with me in it.

I think you would be better off getting a pad to raise you up if you need it.
