can you post some pics of the paint? I'm looking to black out my interior, minus the nice looking wood grain.

crap, I can't see anything. Post some more pics when a little bit of light is out. What did you use to paint it? How did the quality come out?

i just used krylon fusion for plastics. i think it turned out really good. i jsut gotta wait then add the clear coat and ill be good. in my opinion though i wouldnt have gone with the gloss black though bc when the sun hits it its too shiny and makes it tough to see. but other than that i love it. and ya ill try to get better pics tomorrow. waited a bit too long to do it

yeah the gloss black is a lil bad on the eyes when the sun hits it thats for sure.i used satin black and it has glitter flakes in it and when the sun hits it its bad .will09lane let me know how the clear looks after you are done ,because i didnt spray clear on mine i just sprayed a couple of coats of satin black on it and it looked shiny enough for me.

There is a member on this site that has a FX4 luxury gauge bezel you might be interested in, It would look good with what your trying to accomplish, I believe he may still have it. It is still listed on his gallery. I had purchased a Lariat gauge bezel from him.
