Seat care

I just took delivery of a used '09 F150 Platinum and was wondering aqbout what to use on the seats. Where did you find your Lexol product? I don't recall seeing it in any of the autoparts stores but maybe I should look a littloe harder.

lexol is the deal... i used the cleaner on my bmw M3 vaders, and then soaked em down w/ the conditioner (the warmer the leather the better).. after about 2 days, my seats went from hard as a rock to about 40% softer... a few more coats and they should be good as new..

For conditioner I like either Lexol or Leather CPR. Both are about the same to me but I like Leather CPR just a little bit better.

hi, i have read the comments, and would like to know a little more details. i just bought a used king ranch, as obvious the leather seats are light brown, and a bit scratched.. but my main concern is both the pilot and co-pilots seats, looks like its been sweat on them and looks wet.. but is dry!

do you believe Lexol product should remove this sweat stain, or perhaps i should consider something different?

please let me know as the stains make the truck look poor care inside

Several clean towel and hot water on the seats and alot of scrubbing, let them somewhat dry and repeat the process a few times. When you get them looking the way you like get some leather cpr at walmart or bed bath and beyond and apply the CPR to the seats. When you get the seats wet they will turn almost black, dont freak out though when the dry they will be back to the original color. Look around on the KR forum it has alot of stuff as far as cleaning our seats.

ok i went to ford dealer parts, and they recommended "Leather Only one step" conditioner, they reckon its better than KR conditioner. so i bought it but have not tried it yet. the bottle was $20 for 16oz.. has anyone use this product before?

if so let me know and how it turned up, otherwise will return it and instead get the CPR at Walmart

Dealers tend to recommend what they sell.

Lexol is what I use on my Katskinz, and is the best leather cleaner that I have ever used. I highly recommend it.
