changing to 60/40 seat

I have a 2001 F150 with a bench seat. I would like to install a 60/40 seat. Will I need to install new rails? What is required?

I did this swap on my '99 XL. The rails that come with the 60/40 seat are all you'll need. The holes for the 60/40 seat are already in the floor of the cab, but they are not threaded. The 60/40 seats mount w/ a total of 8 bolts while the bench mounts w/ 4 bolts. The holes to be threaded are two different sizes, depending on if they also mount a seat belt or not. I can't remember the metric thread sizes, but I think the bench is also mounted w/ two different size bolts, so they can be used to determine the bolt size.

One of the things I like the most about XL's is the vinyl flooring (in place of carpet) they come with. I live in the country (dirt roads/driveway), and I spend a lot of time cruising dirt roads. A quick wipe w/ a damp rag and the floor looks like new. My truck is 10yrs old and the interior looks almost as good as it did the day it was made. It's a truck ... why in the heck would you want carpet!?

My favorite feature of the XL trucks. Full vinyl flooring and no carpets to ruin.
