radio trim

the trim around my radio(the one that has the two vents in the center of the dash board) keeps falling off, reason being is that the clips and the clip holders have broken off, I know I can get the trim from a junkyard or something but the part that I want to know is can I replace the part that holds the trim in place or do I have to replace the whole dash.

I have a 1997 f150 xl

all of the plastic pieces in the dash can be removed. patience and a star bit work wonders. as far as the radio bezel it is its own thing, if the dash is damaged then you will likely have to replace the parts holding it in. All of which, i believe, can be easily replaced.

this sucks...tonight i just found out that my dash part will have to be replaced. i took off my radio bezel and heard somethings "falling" behind the dash. ends up it was part of the plastic that the radio bezel clips into. so im going to the junkyard tomorrow morning to see if i can get new parts that are in better shape than mine. i am going to look for an extra one too in cash my lightning has the same problem.
