Oops! I removed the shine from my armrests.

There was a dingy build-up on my armrests from the previous owner, so I took it upon myself to clean it with an abrasive sponge. It removed the shine on large areas..does anyone know how restore the shine? Is there some type of finish I can buy and apply it myself?

If it's plastic, you might try clear Fusion by Krylon.
