Swapping Leather Seating Covers from left to right?
Hi gang
2000 Eddie Bauer Expedition..I have the legendary cracking on the seat bottom on the outside of the drivers seat bottom... (under left leg) yet the passenger seat is is still like new.
I was looking at both seats, and the only difference I see is that both left and right have felt like (cheap rug material) side covers facing the center console...with Naugahyde (from the hides of Naugys!)on the outside of both. No biggie if the felts are facing outside , right?
So my question is, if I can rotate my tires, why can't I rotate my leather seat bottoms?
Will they fit each other? Has anyone attempted it?

I can't tell you for sure about the 2000 model. I have an 06 crew and the seat covers appear to be the same until you actually take the seat bottoms out. Definitely not the same and cannot be interchanged on mine.
