Paint smell

Made a tray to go in my center console, painted it up and it stinks like paint.
It has dried/aired out about a week and still stinks like paint.
Is there a solution, its not bad till you open the center console then you get a blast of bad air.?

Thanks in advance

Open the lid and windows of the truck and let the paint dry. Only reason is smells is that it's simply not dry. Don't know what type of paint you used but oil based will take next to forever.

Thats the thing though it was air drying inside the garage and even outside for a while on good days for a good week. Finally got feed up and wanted to use it. But it still stinks. Used a plastic adhesive spray then a bumper black coating which I didnt like then a enamel spray on top.

The part that is taking so long to dry is the enamel finish. Did you put a light coat or heavy coat? It could take along time for enamel to cure especially if it was put on thick. I would just keep the console open as much as possible and keep the window cracked open as much as you can. It will take a while but eventually it will cure (dry).
