I Have A 99 F150, I Recently Lost My Key And Key Remote. Does Anyone Have An Idea If I Can Purchase A Used Remote Online And Get It Programmed To Work On My Truck Vs Buying One From The Dealership. Also, What Does It Run To Get A New Key With It Being Programmable As Well?

no matter where you buy the key/remote from, you're going to have to go to a dealer to get it programmed to your PATS system. otherwise, even if the key is cut perfectly, the truck will immediately shut off.

 

will it even start up? i broke the black part on one of my keys & it disrupted the system. the truck wont even crank, the engine will jus keep turnin over.
