Seat Comfort

Maybe it's just me, but having my 2000 F150 XL for 2 weeks now, I'm just not getting a good comfortable seating position. I believe the lumbar support is too low in the seat. Does anyone share these thoughts...and is there a solution?

Are you sure the lumbar support is still working? Sometimes the cable snaps.

I have the seat back in almost a full upright position, I find that the most comfortable, not the most relaxed position, but it keeps my back from hurting

Yes, the lumbar support **** and mechanism works. I think it's just too low down...or I need support further up?

I have found whenever I switch cars/trucks it takes over a month for my back to 'adjust' to the new seats. I would find the best spot you can and then keep it that posistion for a while, see if it doesn't reshape your back

I think Ford seats are some of the most uncomfortable seats I've ever been in. BUT, it's worth it. I wanna get some buckets eventually. I agree that the lumbar seems a little low. Not sure if they changed design from 97-03 to 06, but I know mine aren't very comfy.

My seats were uncomfortable until I bought my Wet Okole seat covers. They add a little extra padding and make them a whole lot more comfortable IMO.
