Any decent appearing steering wheel covers?

The finish is wearing off my wheel showing some dark spots under the Gray.
I shot some dye on it but it only lasts a few months.
Most of the covers I've seen in the past look kinda tacky, anything better?

Check out www.wheelskins.com for quality, good looking, sew on leather wheel covers. I've had them in three vehicles and have been very pleased with them.

Here's a recent thread with some pictures of the covers:

Those look very nice and the price is about half what I expected. But the installation has me worried. How hard is it to get it done right?

It's not hard at all. It comes with lacing cord, a needle, and some decent instructions. You'll be surprised at how much the leather will stretch and how nice it looks once you get going. I found that it helps to have the leather warm before the install, to make it a bit more pliable. Should take you about an hour, taking your time. Go for it.

Inexpensive alternative

Advance auto is selling these for about $10 until Christmas. Took 10 seconds to put on once warmed up.
