To any of you that recieved this as a gift this year: GOOD LUCK! What a pita to put this thing on! Looked simple from the instructions that came with it but damn., talk about aggravating! Looks nice when its done though.

Anyhow Merry Christmas everybody! enjoy those new toys!

Yeah, it was a pita to put on... It is nice though.. After a few months, the leather "bubbled" in a few places though... Like it was separating about the size of a pencil eraser head in a few places?!?! Not sure exactly how to describe it.. No chemicals ever touched it though.. It is not bad, so I am going to leave it on..

I guess some of these are required for wheelskins installation as PPE. (personal protective equipment)

You know, normally im very patient and carefull with installing mods. Usually thats what makes them go easy, but this thing? BS! The instructions say about one hour for install, it took me nearly twice that long! I must have cursed the whole time installing it. With all the poking and pulling and stretching I was really aggravated by the time it was done.. (Damn, that sounds like my honeymoon...) Looks cool now but Im seriously dreading installing the one my uncle ordered....

Later,

Luis S

P.S. Ill try and post a few pics later. And I have a couple of spots that bubbled too. What is that?

Ebay will save you a few buck if you use them. Quick shipping too...

So, I am guessing that a little heat and some "pre fitment" stretching might make that stuff more pliable and go on better than if was cold, straight outa the package

Any idea on which Wheelskin would best match the Tan F-150 Interior? Wheelskin says the "Tan" is similar to a football, which wouldn't match... would the "Oak" be a better match?
