Broken Lumbar Support

Hey fellas...I was pushing in my parking brake, and pushed too hard against the back of the seat, and popped my lumbar support! WTF! It sucks now...and I have a 1800 mile trip too colorado and back at the end of next, week! Soooooo how do I fix this? (cheaply would be appreciated as well...I don't know if I can affort a new seat or a junk seat)

If its like the 1997 seat then you can fix it with a brake cable from a pushbike.
First remove the seat. Roll up the seat cover back till you can see the top where the cable fits. Do this by following the cable from the adjustment ****. I had to reweld the base of mine.
Used a cable clamp to secure the new wire, try to get the type that don't "cut" the wire when tightened.
It takes awhile to do. you might need to wait till after your trip.
