Other than the King Ranch of course.
A lot of the higher end cleaners may be a waste of money.
YES! Those interested in searching will find tons of info leather cleaning. Ford, and everyone else almost always puts a vinyl coating on the leather. There are some exceptions like the King Ranch leather. So the people getting the cleaner and polish for leather furniture are getting product for uncoated leather (aniline). Buying something specifically designed for automotive leather (coated) will get you something made for your seats, not some expensive sofa. Usually cheaper too.

I also like the Megs with aloe, Lexol is also good but I don't care for the smell. 2 in 1 products generally don't work as well as products with a seperate cleaner and conditioner.

From what I understand, just the seating portion of the two front seats are actually leather. Is this correct? If so, would you use the same leather cleaning and conditioning products on the rear bench seat, center console armrest, etc? Are those just made of vinyl?

Hope I am not too late to the dance here.

Only the seating surface on your trucks is leather, the rest is pleather.

My vote is for the following in order too:
  • Poorboys Leather Stuff, needs to be buffed out
  • Leather CPR
  • King Ranch Leather Cleaner and Conditioner (works great on non KR too but also needs to be buffed)
  • Megs 2 step
  • Lexol Conditioner (Brown Bottle) but my experince with this product is on KR only and its a No no to put Lexol Cleaner on KR leather.

I finally did my seats today for the first time since I bought my truck. I know I'm horrible at cleaning. After spending a lot of money and time on my last few vehicles I kinda got burnt out on detailing. Anyways, Meg's cleaner is good. I wishi it was a little stronger. I had some marks and stains that it didn't get out. The conditioner worked instantly, making the leather a bit more supple and moist. I wish I did them to my seats few times a year since I bought the truck cause they would be fantastic shape and wouldn't have any marks either but oh well. Meg's is good stuff. So there aren't any stronger cleaners that won't hurt the leather?

Even though our seats are leather and pleather If I switch to the two products below will I be hurting my seats. As of right now I've been using the Gold Class Rich Leather Spray

You will be fine with these products unless you have a King Ranch, if so, use only the white conditioner.

Is there anything wrong with the Spray that I'm using that has the Cleaner and conditioner all in one. The reason I'm asking is b/c I have a whole bottel left.

It is probably ok too if you like the results. If you think its not cleaning and conditioning like it should pick up a bottle of something else.

Kind of have to experiment with stuff sometimes to see how you like it. For the most part, any leather condioner will work with Lariat seats. I haven't seen anything that would damage them and of course with anything new, test in conspicuous area first for color fastness,

Meguairs conditioners! If you want to save a few dollars Murphy's oilsoap (recommended by my Seally distibutor for our leather sofas) will remove all oils and dirt then condition. My Lariats seats are like a baby's ***...

No offense but I would never use this product on Castano leather which is in the King Ranch trucks.

Welcome to the forum...sorry about throwing this under the bus.

EDIT: My bad on this post, I just realized this was not posted in the KR section....

Now I am only 50% skeptical.
