Carpet Cleaning Method...

So, I really had nothing better to do with my time the other day and I had a can of compressed air (used for cleaning dust out of computers, etc.) and a can of Tuff Stuff carpet cleaner in my truck. Well I came up with a crazy idea on an oil stain that has been in my floor board that I couldnt get up. So I took the can of compressed air and turned it upside down and sprayed it. Of course it comes out as a cold liquid that evaporates almost instantly. But I kept spraying the oil stain with the liquid out of the can until I had the area covered and frozen. Then I got a crescent (any metal tool will work) and started to scrub the area that I sprayed until it was thawed out (about 30 seconds). It doesnt tear up the carpet, btw. Then I sprayed the Tuff Stuff cleaner over the stain and let it soak until I scrubbed the area with a brush. Dont spray the cleaner on without making sure the area is thawed out or else it will freeze the cleaner and it doesnt work. This stuff is COLD! After I was done scrubbing, I was amazed that it actually worked. I tried it on a couple of other stains in my truck that I hadn't been able to get up just to make sure it wasnt just that stain that it worked on. All of them came up. I don't know what it is about this and it might not work for you but it worked for me. Anyway, just thought I'd sare so If you have a chance, give it a try.

Haha, I dont blame you. It sounds confusing. The only reason I said a wrench was because it was the only thing that I could use with-in arms length. I took the small crescent, opened it up about half way and actually used it to scrub or scrape at the carpet. It sounds confusing but it worked. Dont use the rounded end, use the end you actually loosen nuts with. Actually any thing with stiff bristles will work. Hopefully this method will work on your stains. Like I said before, it took up an oil stain that had been there for a couple of years.
