Best way to clean seats?

I have a 2003 F-150 Heritage and it has mostly black cloth seats. I was wondering what would be the best way to make them look new? Also what is a good cleaner for clearcoat rims?

Well if you don't want to pay all the money it costs to have a pro do it, the best way is to rent a hot water extractor with an upholstrey attachment. I'm not talking about a rug doctor or any of those wimpy grocery store rentals but a real hot water extractor. These are the portable units most pros use, the kind that have hoses and a wand that attach to them, and in your case an upholstrey attachment. The water comes out steaming hot and they have powerful vacuum's to suck all the filth out. I don't know where you live but I'd call around to rental places and ask them if they carry them. In my area Sunbelt Rentals has them.

Also bear in mind that you need to use the proper cleaner for the spots you're trying to clean. If it's water based you need to use a water based cleaner (or just plain water in some cases is enough). If it's an oil based spot you'll need something solvent based. Make sure it's something that doesn't leave a residue! You might start with rubbing alcohol first but I haven't had good luck with it since it's so weak. My personal choice is denatured alcohol. Others have used Goof Off but in my experience it can leave spots or residue.

Whatever cleaner you use, SPOT TEST IT FIRST!!! Try some on an inconspicious area and let it dry completely. Also work it like you would on a dirty spot. There's a difference between dabbing a little on and waiting a couple minutes and scrubbing like you would cleaning a dirty spot and waiting until it's completely dry. That's a real spot test.
