Seat Plastic Molding Thing

I can not find the name of the plastic piece that fits in right below the seat of my 98 f150 xlt ext. cab. If you are sitting in the drivers seat and you put your hand on the plastic piece to the left of the seat, next to the drivers door. that's the piece i am talking about. It's got the lumbar and the seat back upper downer thing lever.. anyways i am looking for a replacement piece and i cant find it anywhere on the web. i have been to junk yards and all the pieces are screwed up. anyone help with my crappie info..thanks

This one looks promising. You've got to create an account though.

Not sure where you can find one maybe www.getfordparts.com but, it is called a sideshield in the automotive market. I worked in a seating facility that built the seats for the superduty. They are pretty much cheap plastic that will cost a fortune.

i just have the gray interior..gray plastic.. i have been to a couple junk yards and have called a couple..apperently they don't get my type of truck in very often.. i went to one junk yard. which had thousands of cars and trucks and it had 1 97 flareside f150 4x4 xlt..i have a 98..it was close enough.it was really the same except it was blue green not red and it was a 97. it was really screwed up..and i was lucky enough to get the front and rear bumpers that were virtually untouched and salvage them. other than that i couldn't get anything else.

no junkyard gets the f150 in very often...the only thing i have found in over 25 junkyards is 2 flareside bed panels and i found them stuffed under a saturn
