Exclamation 1998 F150 - Manual window broken?

It's winter which means frozen windows in the morning. Thanks to my brother, my driver's side window handle spins freely with a slight clicking sound. It's like there's a piece that's stripped that cranks the window down. What kind of repairs are neccessary? How does the system work? Is it a repair I can do myself? Any information will be much appreciated.

It sounds like the handle stripped out. There are teeth on the inside of the plastic handle that match up to the metal teeth on the window assembly. This should be an easy fix, there is a cover on the window crank, and underneath you will see a torx screw, once that is removed, you can slide the old crank off and put the new crank on. You can probably find one in a salvage yard, or for a quick fix, you can check the HELP! section of your local auto parts store. There should be one there that will work until you get a chance to go find a matching one.
