Removing the door panels are very easy. Start with the passenger side. It just seems easier. You will need to first carefully pry up the window switch panel. You can use a thick or big flat blade screwdriver, but be very, very careful or use a suitable pry. You dont want to knick the plastic. Place the screwdriver under the top of the panel and pry up just a bit. You can use your fingers to pull it up the rest of the way. Disconnect the wiring. Next, remove the side mirror cover (its the triangular looking plastic cover on the inside of the door near the door hinges) and the long plastic pillar panel near the manual door lock tab by just pulling on it with your fingers. By removing these, you will see two black button tabs holding the top part of the door panel. Push on the center pin gently and then pry the button tab out by the outer part of it. Next, pry out the round plastic cover near the door handle. This will reveal the bolt holding down the door handle to the release mechanism. Remove the bolt using an 8mm socket being very careful not to drop the bolt once it becomes loose. You can do this by feeling when the bolt becomes loose and holding it with the socket while holding the handle at the same time and carefully removing the handle. Now all you have to do is grab it by the grab handle with one hand and the other near the bottom of the arm rest and PULL UP, NOT OUT. The door panel will slide up from its slots and then you can pull it out a little bit. The door light socket will still be attached in which you can simply twist it and remove it. When putting back your door panel, its just the reverse, but make sure that you put the panel up against the door and slide down making sure the door lock tab, the metal flat hook inside the door panel, and the plastic hooks near the bottom of the door panel on the inside, all line up to their respective slots.
Sorry I didnt provider pics cause I just typed from the top of my head. Unfortunately I cant help you much with repairing your window as I havent been there yet, but i have done the door panel removal a few times and its become pratically second nature. Good luck!!
