I've noticed that the XLTs and Lariats have a different front seat starting in 2001 and running to 2003. These seats have an integrated seat belt and what appears to be better side bolstering. I'd like to replace my current seat in my 2000 XLT extended cab.

Are these seats better?
Are the 2001 to 2003 a direct bolt in for a 2000?
Are there any wiring considerations?
Have any of you done it successfully?
