?Newer seats for a '87

What other newer year model ford seats would fit in my '87 f150 reg cab Lariat XLT? It has a bench in right now, and it is a 4X4. I kind of like the Lightning.

Thanks!

What year Lightning are we talking about here? The Gen I's might bolt right up, but the newer Gen II's (97 up) would definetly need some custom brackets made, nothing too serious, it can be done.

Gen I, Gen II??

WTF are you talking about?

For all intents and purposes the 80-96 were Gen 7, adjust from there

beings that I owned several "gen 7" models I know that any any 92-96 F150 bench seat should be a bolt-in replacement for the 87 assuming it has the bench seat. If its a bucket, all bets are off, but IIRC, buckets were only offered on supercabs and bronco's

I am not positive for 80-86, they were pretty close, but they did change a few subtle things in 87
