I am having a problem with the read-out on the digital trip-ometer, some times you can see it and other times you cant at all or its very dim and you cant read it, does anyone know what the problem is or how to fix it?

 

Do a search and there is an article by a member here that is quite detailed. It is harder to disassemble than to fix but it'll say evereything. Very common problem.

Edited to add. Do NOT use one of the person's advice removing the headlight switch. I don't know for vehicles with factory fog lights but for regular ole 150's it's just a small screwdriver (put a rag over it so you don't scratch anything) and gently pry the small rectangular opening on the switches bottom. I have a 2000 and mine **** broke when I tried that 180 degree crap.
