Leather Fiasco now need dye!
I buy some 3M window cleaner today and accidentally get a few drops on one of my seats while cleaning the windshield inside. This immediately stains the leather a lighter shade of gray where the drops hit.
I get my Zymol leather cleaner and try to fix it but it is not coming off. Then I scrub too hard on one of the spots and the leather dye comes off leaving a 1/8 by half inch spot that is now White rather than Gray. So now it looks like a will have to hit the area with spray dye.
Is there an exact match for the seat color available? Truck is a ’98.
FIXED! I went to Napa and eye-balled the SEM vinyl paints and went with med Gray. First pass looked pretty close so I went with three light coats and it was a near perfect and you don't notice that the seat was even touched up. Most excellent.
