I know I know, another seat question.

I have 1998 Ford f-150, and it has a bench seat in it. And we all know that the bench seats have only 4 mounting bolts. My question is, will a 60/40 seat work in my truck. I think the 60/40 seats have 5 mounting bolts, but I have been told that the 5th bolt hole is there it's just under the carpet or rubber mat. If it isn't how bad of a job is it to get these seats to work.. Appreciate any help.

Should be there, I tore apart my 00 reg. cab with the 60/40 to put in expedition seats from a 97 (the hard part was tapping holes) and console and there were many holes that needed to be tapped (because of the console). It's cheaper for Ford to put the holes in all the models and put rubber plugs in the models that don't need them while they are on the line.

And we all know that no auto manufacturer hates saving money. All you'll need is a tap for that hole and the bolt. That bolt is much bigger than the others and is not rubber coated like the rest as it holds the middle passengers lap belt along with the seat mount.

If I missed something or you are unsure, shoot me an email and I'll try and help you through it.
