Water stains on seats.
Water stains on seats.
I have a 05 F-150 and take my daughter swimming alot here at our local pool. I put towels down in the seat and still I have got huge round water stains in my seats. Does anyone know of a product that I can purchase to remove these stains? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

no, theres nothing that stops these new F-150 cloth seats from staining. I have tried everything out in the market when I had the light gray flint seats on an 04 f-150 I had and nothing works, not even close. This is one of Fords mistakes on the new seats, the stain up even with pure water, nothing stops it.
I use Hoover Spot & Stain Remover. I'm not real sure of the name but I do know it's by Hoover and comes in a white bottle with a red label. I pick mine up a Lowe's. This will take out any stain on these seats. I just cleaned mine this weekend. You only need to spray a little on the stain, then scrub with a fingernail brush, then rub over with a towel to soak up any extra cleaner. The stains may need to be gone ever a couple of times, some of mine did. After you go through all that P.I.T.A., put some Scotchgard on the seats. I Scotchgarded my rear seat when I bought the truck last July and there are still no stains on it. Even after rain, spilled drinks, etc..
Scotchgard works on these seats, it can be picked up at Lowe's on the cleaning aisle. Pick some up while you are there getting your stain remover.
I have Tan seats in my truck, and these seats show every piece of dirt. If these seats can be cleaned I know everybodys seats can be cleaned. It's just a matter of having the time, patience, and knowledge to do it.

"SpotNot" in the Orange spray can. We use it on carpet, couches, etc., kids and dogs, (The 3 P's - pee, poop, puke).
As always, whatever you use try it on a small area in an inconspicuous place first.
Good Luck
