Worn spot on leather

Yes, I admit I am guilty of sliding in and out of my seat and it's starting to show. I have a pic of the nasty little tear in the seat and Im wondering if theres any way to keep it from getting worse. THanks guys.

Once it gets that far, its hard to stop. A piece of duct tape will stop it, but it looks just as unsightly, if not more. Call an upholstry repair shop. I was just quoted $325 to get two pieces of leather in the seat replaced.
