Annoying B-Pillar squeak

I have a squeak I've been trying to solve for a few months now. It's the passenger side pillar at the very top. It's not a high-pitched squeak, it's more like a constant, fast popping or ticking that happens with every shake of the cab. It stops if I pull the plastic trim out of the inside weatherstrip, so I think the sound is made by the plastic sticking on the weatherstrip and cab movement "popping" it loose. It seems to fit perfectly tight, but it's almost as if the rubber weatherstrip isn't as "silky" as it needs to be? Does that make sense?

So how can I lubricate this to stop the racket? Silicone spray doesn't last and I don't want to stain the headliner. Graphite helps for a bit but it tends to get all over everything. Any suggestions short of a trip to the dealer?
