Cool Passenger Door Panel

I need some info on how to remove the window crank and door panel of my 1998 F-150 pickup. The power door lock is not working but I can hear the plunger working. I think it just needs reconnected but I don't see how the window crank comes off. Thanks for the help.

Well if I had my woman's truck I would take a picture but I'll try to describe since I do not.

If you look at the underside of the crank itself there is a little opening, if you gently pry that it will pop off of itself, those little hook tools really are useful here since I have fat fingers. You then slide that piece (you'll see it at this point) out of the way and use a small torx head screwdriver to revome the crank.

If and most likely when you see that everything looks normal. It's gonna maybe be your actuator burning up. Mine looked and sounded normal, then felt half powered and then a week later nothing at all.

Good luck to you

Thanks

Thanks for the info. My Truck is a 1995 NASCAR edition and I'm trying to be very careful with it. I'd like to keep it as original as possible so the advice is appreciated.
