howdy! my dad had a new tranny installed in my 81 150-ranger, but they had to move my stick and left a hole in my floor. the vinyl is ripping and needs to be replaced but i have no idea where to find someone to do it for me -and i dont want carpet, i want to keep her original. thanks guys

 

JC Whitney has a pretty wide selection of them. I think they have colors even. Was yours black,or interior colored? Anyway,most newstands,and larger bookstore chains carry the Whitney catalogs in the magazine dept. Good luck,,,,98

my interior is green, i know any parts from way back when are black, which isnt a problem, but i'm having trouble just finding parts. thanks for the jc whitney advice -i'm looking right now. i need door panels and a dash board too its even harder since i'm just learning all this stuff and most people i talk to in person just kinda laugh because i'm a girl. is there a special name for the 81 150/ranger? it was b4 they split the models, but i cant really find anyone else who calls it that. thanks a million devon

 

It's possible that the dealers still carry those parts. If not you can also try Hemmings Motor News. It is a monthly magazine that is around five dollars. Just look for a very thick booklike mag. with an orange-brown cover. It has every imaginable car and truck part available. Sometimes you can even find OEM parts still in the box. I'll try to look up some more companies that carry or can get these parts,and get back to you within the next few days,,,,,,,98

Good luck with the parts search,these companies say they only carry up to the 79 model year,but they might be able help you find others that do. The dealer actually may still carry the interior parts,but of course they will be at a premium price,,,,,,,,98
