Question changing to new gauges

I have the factory gauges without the tachometer. I was wondering if it is possible to buy a new instrument cluster with a tach. in it and if it is possible to wire corectly? Or is it just easier to buy an aftermarket tach. I would do that but I would rather have the factory look. Plus, I don't think I would like to have a big tach sticking out of my dash. Thanks for any input!

I want to know almost the same thing. My question is can we get an aftermarket factory guage the goes over 100mph and wire it correctly.

Lightbulb

I can maybe answer that one. We can get a new speedo and wire it corectly, But, why whould you want it? There is a governer on the trucks set at 99 mph. That means that when you get to 99 mph, the engine will cut off half of the cylinders(no spark) and that will slow you down. So even if you could get a speedo that goes beyond 100 mph, why whould you?

Spargo2 said it best. Besides if a lightning can get over 100mph, when I finish getting everything fo rmy truck it will do the same.
