Question Expedition XLT Leather Seats

My '01 Expy XLT came with light brown leather seats.

I have two small children and I live in Texas where it gets hotter than hell July-September.

I have no idea how to care for the leather. The kids I can handle...most of the time.

Any leather care advice is appreciated.

I use a leather cleaner and then a protectant on the leather. I can't remember the name right now, but I got it at WalMart. Go to the auto cleaning section and look for the leather chemicals. Buy the good stuff. Just rub it on and you will see a difference in the leather within the hour. Keep them up once a month to keep them looking new.

Cool

TexasDude- the leather needs to be cleaned and conditioned regularly to keep it supple. This will greatly extend it's life. I use Lexol 3 or 4 times a year on my car and touch up with The Tannery. Like Mike said, there are many good products available in most automotive stores. Good Luck !!
