Post The console dilema

You know, BlueFlareside has a good point. I doubt anyone ever asked if the supplier of the consoles, whichever company they were, could in fact provide a near new take off. Looking at mine again this am, it's apparent it sat outside for a number of months/years and was probably stacked hap-hazardly in some 'pile out back'! (Manufacture date on some of the plastic was 10-16-97) It's a shame that products of usefulness are treated that way. I don't mind spending the money to get something worthwhile and doesn't require hours worth of labor to bring it back to some semblence of repair, but I do mind spending the bucks on something that is questionable if I can ever use it! Even though Darin(LWM)told me not to expect a new item and that it ranked 6 on a scale of 10, my 6 expectations were higher than what I received! I'll do the best with what I have, maybe I'm too particular, or maybe I should have asked the additional questions. Glad to see we are still learning from mistakes.
