Question oder removal

At some point in time the person who owned my truck previously hauled a dog in the cab. I notice that if it sits for a few days without moving in the sun that it smells like a dog in there. Have tried Fabreeze. It only works for a while. Besides that stuff stinks, and gives me a headache. Does anyone know what else might work better to remove it.

If this dont work it is new interior time. Ilove my two dogs but dogs belong in the back.

Put a cat in there for awhile...after that the cab will stink so much like cat you won't even notice the dog smell.

The only thing that will remove odors that have permeated everything is ozone. You should be able to rent an ozone generator. Put it in the cab of the truck and run it for a while, then start up the truck and turn the a/c on to Max and run it like that for a few minutes to get the ozone into the a/c and ducts too.

I've seen portable Ozone genators that plug into your cigarette lighter (power point). Sorry, I can't remember where or how much $. (Must be old age )
I kinda liked the "cat" idea.. LOL

Just use a clothespin but, keep in mind that whoever you phone from your truck will think you're the Operator.

You could also try this:

Take some ground coffee and put it in a paper towel, and secure it closed with a rubberband or something similar. Put it either under the seat or in one of the door pockets. I know it sounds weird, but it's also what they do with freezers when you move and they need to be empty for a while.

Let me know how it works.
