What is the slit above the tissue holder in the armrest for??

EXTERIOR: 4 doors, flip qtr window/priv glass, chrome bump/grille surr, color keyed doorhandles, locking removable tailgat, 4-pin trailer tow wiring, cargobox/under headlights, box rail mold/tie hooks
OPTIONAL:
5.4L EFI V8 Engine, electronic 4-spd auto o/d, 3.55 ratio limited slip axle, XLT sport group(partial list: P275/60R-17 OWL all-season, power color keyed mirrors, 17" cast aluminum wheels. Credit heavy accelerator, liscense plate bracket, cab steps, 6300# GVWR package, sliding rear window, heavy duty electrical/cooling, premium electronic AM/FM w/CD, and Remote Keyless Entry!!! An awesome truck!! Can only get better!!

Sorry, I don't have an F150 yet so I can't say for sure. But my first thought would be. Is it about the same length & width as a pen/pencil? Do you have a picture?

I'm not sure if i completly understand what your describing, but i think it pulls out and divides the inside of your console into smaller compartments.
