I purchased my 97 F150 used in Dec. I noticed a moldy smell after a couple days and started looking around. Well the drivers & passengers side front carpeting was soaked underneath. I pulled everything out and dried the carpet but it is badly stained and still stinks a bit. Does anybody know where I can purchase a new one, Ford wants over $500.00 and thats a bit insane. (97 F150,Ext Cab,4.6,XLT,Capt chairs,Moonvisor,K&N.)

 

Highground, make sure the water problem is solved as well. We had a suburban here at work that had some type of AC leak. That musty smell is not too nice.

 

You think musty smell is bad? My wife's T-Bird was sitting in a field for a while and became the home for some mice. Mouse pee is real pleasant smell.
