Does anyone have any experience with Ford or aftermarket real wood dash kits? I am particulary interested in the molded, one-piece variety. Do they install nice? Problems? Looks?

If you have auto-climate control be careful. Ford sells their own kit but its not for trucks with the auto climate control. Also 99s have a different pattern. Just my .02

Virginian, I ordered one from JC Whitney, I'll let you know what I think of the whole affair when it comes in and I get the chance to install. expect two weeks though.

 

Bad luck with the JC Whitney one. I don't remember the mfr of the one I got, but a total waste. No cut out for the 4x4 switch, the piece around the headlight switch didn't fit right, and other problems. Good thing I checked the fit before I pulled the backing off. Returned it quickly for a refund. TOTAL WASTE. I need to save money anyway for other toys.
