Unhappy Wet carpet on passenger side

I was vaccuming out the interior of my truck recently and pulled out the factory floor mats to vaccum the carpet. The passenger side carper was wet underneath the mat, the mat was dry. I was surprised as to the amount of water there, it took me several minutes with a shop vac to get most of it up. I tried feeling around underneath the dash but came up with nothing. Unfortunately, it had been damp under the mat for a while and the carpet is somewhat stained now!

Anyone seen this or have any idea what it is?

Thanks in advance!

When you're running the A/C, is there a puddle of water dripping out from underneath the truck on the passenger's side? If it doesn't smell like coolant, there's a good chance the evaporator drain is plugged up, allowing condensation off the evaporator to leak inside the truck.

There is usually a decent size puddle of water after running the A/C.

A/C drain is clooged up. There is an elbow piece that they will stick on to solve the problem. If it,s under warrenty it's covered.

It's under warranty. I'm due for an oil change soon so I'll have them take care of it then. Hopefully I can get the dealer to replace the carpet too, since it is stained from all of this, but we'll have to see.

Thanks for the info guys!

Don't let the dealer loose on that elbow...or you'll just have to bring it back
