Dent in stearing wheel emblem

Somehow, and I, frankly, have no idea, I have a dent in the Ford emblem in my stearing wheel cover. Does anyone know if its safe to pop the cover off and try to pry the dent out? It seems like I could get the dent out but I'm a bit weary about taking off the stearing wheel cover. Has anyone done this? If so, what do I need to do.

Thanks in advance.

Well this may not be much help but after doing a search on "steering wheel removal" and "air bag removal" I did learn one thing....disconnect the neg battery cable first! (Sadly I hadn't even thought of that)

Just a heads up, I think some sort of certification is required to mess with the airbag, or you have to have it inspected by someone who's certified. Not sure about how the laws on that work, but it would be wise to look into it.
